Water Conditioners

Water conditioners, such as the ECR 3500, offer the most efficient and economical solution. Water conditioners work to replace hard ions such as magnesium and calcium with softer ions like sodium and/or potassium. Carroll Water Systems offers two types of water conditioners:

• Demand-Initiated Softeners - Water conditioners or water softeners must be regenerated on a regular basis in order to effectively remove hardness from your water supply. Demand-initiated softeners will automatically regenerate when sensors indicate that the capacity is low.
   
• Time-Initiated or Solid State Softeners - Solid state softeners will regenerate at a fixed time when capacity levels are predicted to be low.
