Reverse Osmosis, or R/O, Systems
Reverse osmosis, or R/O, systems push water through a semipermeable membrane to remove unwanted dissolved solids. These systems will help improve the taste and smell of your water as well as remove any unwanted contaminants.
Here’s How an RO Works:
- Household water is directed through a prefilter for filtration to remove sediment, chlorine taste and odor, and particulate matter.
- The water is then forced, by pressure, through a semi-permeable membrane where a high percentage of the dissolved solids, etc. are rejected and flushed to the drain.
- Filtered water is reserved in the storage tank until needed. An activated carbon absorption block filter that removes tastes and odors polishes the water immediately before going to the faucet.
Microbiological Filter Systems
Microbiological filter systems reduce lead, chlorine taste and odor, sediment, bacteria, viruses, cysts and volatile organic compounds. Stripped of these elements, pure water and minerals help improve the taste of filtered water.

Removes 99.1% of lead and is a BPA-free system.
